Young Voices of Africa is a diverse and vibrant group of young people (youth leaders) across the African continent and the African diaspora who are raising their voices on various issues affecting their communities and the continent as a whole.

Youth Empowerment
We equip young Africans with essential skills, leadership training, and resources to excel personally and professionally. Through workshops and mentorship, we build confidence and capacity among youth to drive positive change.
Amplifying Youth Voices
Creating platforms—locally, nationally, and globally—where youth can be heard and influence decisions is central to our mission. We use public speaking, creative media, and advocacy to ensure our voices are included in key dialogues.
Advocacy & Social Action
Young Voices of Africa tackles pressing issues such as education, climate change, human rights, healthcare, poverty, etc. We champion policies and mobilise communities to address these topics, pushing for sustainable and equitable solutions.
Education & Development
We focus on improving access to quality education—especially in underserved areas—and fostering skill development in tech, business, and innovation. We aim to empower youth economically and socially, contributing to broader continental progress.

Some of our current projects
Blood Diamond
The Blood Diamond Project by Young Voices of Africa is a powerful diaspora-led initiative that uses storytelling and performance to highlight the human cost of conflict minerals. It raises awareness about exploitation in the diamond trade while connecting African and European audiences through dialogue. The project sparks reflection, justice-driven conversations, and youth-led activism.
Talent into Action
A three‑year Creativity & Change/Irish Aid pilot connecting young creatives in Ghana and Ireland. Through art, poetry, music, digital media, and dance, participants explore social issues, develop awareness campaigns, and may take part in international exchange residencies.
African Youth Goals
A continental framework featuring 15 youth‑driven objectives—from education and employment to peace, justice, climate action, and gender equality—crafted by African youth and diaspora leaders to shape national and African Union policy
